The Waterloo Republican Wednesday, November 10, 1971 Pours Celebrate 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pour of Red Bud celebrated their Golden Wedding with an Anniversary Mass October 31 at St. John Catholic Church, Red Bud. Their nephew the Rev. Donald Eichenseer officiated. Walter Pour and the former Miss Rose Eichenseer were married November 3, 1921 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Hecker. Their attendants were Mrs. Loretta Gabriel, sister of the bridegroom, and Anthony Eichenseer, brother of the bride. Mrs. Gabriel is deceased and Mrs. Mamie Parker substituted for her at the Anniversary Mass. The Pour’s have nine children, Mrs. Eugene (Adele) Maurer of New Athens, Mrs. Clem (Rita) Schaefer of Red Bud, Mrs. Alberta Holder of Waterloo, Mrs. Owen (Ethel) Masterson of Belleville, Paul and Robert Pour of Belleville, Louis Pour of New Athens, Lee Pour of Red Bud and Joseph Pour of Waterloo. They have 27 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son Albert, died in 1946. Mr. Pour is a retired farmer.
