Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Williams of Mitchie visited at Remking’s Sunday. Henry Behrens, Jr., has left for St. Louis and from there he will leave for Iowa. John Hutter, of Valmeyer opened a dram shop in Sauerhage’s building April 8. William Hirsch, of St. Louis visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Hirsch, Sunday. Fred Hoffmann is having a new shed built on his premises. For an automobile Fred? Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Pieper, and children gave Mrs. Adam Andres a short call Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sauerhage, of here left for Brownsburg Sunday where they will visit relatives. The sale at Fred Pieper’s, was well attended everything was pretty well sold, and at a reasonable price.
