A society hop was given at Miller’s hall Saturday evening.

Mrs. Nic. Notter of Mitchie spent Sunday here with relatives.

Mrs. John Andreas visited St. Louis relatives and friends last week.

E.T. Weatherwax and family of St. Louis visited the family of his brother-in-law 
Dr. Lee Sunday.

We understand the wedding bells will again commence to ring after an extended 
interruption in this vicinity.

Gus. Weinel spent Sunday fishing at the Moredock catching a string of seventy-five 
croppie in a few hours.  This is a true fish story.
