The Waterloo Times December 3, 1915 AL. JAMES AGAIN BECOMES BENEDICT A pretty church wedding took place last Thursday morning in Sts. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church when Miss Ella C. Fike became the bride of Mr. Alfred James. Rev. Father Krewet performed the ceremony. They were attended by Joseph and Miss Mary Fike, brother and sister of the bride. The groom is a son of Bennett James and was born and raised here. He has been engaged in the printing trade in St. Louis for many years past. The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. M. Fike of this city and has a host of friends here. After the wedding ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, where an elegant wedding dinner was served. Only immediate relatives were present. In the evening Mr. and Mrs. James left for St. Louis, where they will make their home. The Times joins in with their many friends here in extending congratulations and best wishes.
