The Waterloo Times Friday, April 16, 1915 China Wedding A delightful time was spent Saturday evening, April 10, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Keim, residing four miles northeast of Waterloo, it being their 20th anniversary. Mr. Keim is one of our well-known farmers and has friends all over the county. He was married to Mrs. Mary Milton, nee Wedel, April 9, 1895, in Columbia, by Rev. G. Dornenburg. Ten children were born to this union as follows: William, Edwin, Henry, Ella, Arthur, Ottilla, Oliver, Lucinda, Emil and Esther, Emil died in infancy. As they were both married before they also have the following children: Peter, Mary, Louis, Katie and Adam Keim, and Alvin Milton. Three of these are married Peter, Mary and Katie. All the children were presented at the celebration except Alvin Milton, he being at present a soldier in the Philippine Islands. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Moeller of Floraville of the Floraville church, of which Mr. and Mrs. Keim are members. At 12 o’clock an excellent supper was served by Mrs. Keim to which all did ample justice, and dancing was kept up until an early hour. Many useful and pretty presents were received by the happy couple in commemoration of the happy event.
