Rain is needed badly and crops are beginning to show the necessity of it. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meier and family spent Sunday with Philip Stahlschmidt. Alphy Ruby and Paul Keating called on Tom Shields and family Sunday afternoon. Miss Loretta Lowry departed for St. Louis Sunday evening where she shall spend the week with relatives and friends.
