The Waterloo Times April 2, 1915 Domestic Science Club Met The Domestic Science Club met with Miss May Murphy with a large attendance present. The hostess favored the Club with a piano solo that was finely rendered. Mrs. Hoener and Mrs. Geo. W. Ziebold gave lengthy reports of the State Meeting at Harrisburg. Mrs. Murphy gave a demonstration of “fish croquettes” and “cream biscuits”, and as the “proof of the pudding is the eating thereof”; this was literally fulfilled as we all had sufficiency; the verdict rendered was “par excellent!” Souvenir was a white carnation tipped with green in honor of St. Patrick. Adjourned to meet with Mrs. Hoerner the third Thursday in April. That will be April 15th.
