The Waterloo Times May 28, 1915 ROBBED ON CAR CROSSING BRIDGE Adam Reinbold of this city was “frisked” of his pocketbook while riding across the Eads bridge in St. Louis Sunday afternoon, and is out about $4 as a result. The car was crowded, and Adam had quite a time to get aboard. A woman sat rather close to him and may have extracted the pocket book which was in the left side pocket of his trousers, but from his experience related to us, we think he was robbed as he entered the car. He says three of four men crowded him and made it quite difficult for him to get through. Adam is shaking hands with himself that he did not carry a large wad on this occasion, yet he feels rather sore at being the victim of a low down pick-pocket.
