Bower, Curtis W.

Curtis W. Bower, 86, of Waterloo, died March 9, 2007, in Waterloo. He was 
born Jan. 31, 1921, in East St. Louis, the son of the late Curtis G. and Bertha 
Bower nee Hennel. Mr. Bower is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. He 
was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Eugene Bower, Paul Bower and 
Glen Bower; and sisters Dorothy O’Conner and Bonnie Lancey. Mr. Bower was 
a member of laborers’ locals in East St. Louis and Belleville. Visitation and a 
funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Matt Friz officiating. 
He is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials 
may be made to Heartland Hospice.
