Steele, Arlene nee Vogt
Arlene Steele, 72, of Columbia, died Oct. 6, 2006, in Columbia. She was born 
Sept. 10, 1934, in East St. Louis, the daughter of the late Herbert J. and Laura 
Vogt nee Stillman. Ms. Steele is survived by her brother David (Linda) Vogt 
of Columbia, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Steele 
was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a retired 
registered nurse. Visitation was at Lawlor Funeral Home. A funeral mass was 
at Immaculate Conception Church, Fr. Steve Gira officiating. She is buried at 
Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Columbia. Memorials may be 
made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
