Rippelmeyer, Arlou W. nee Hoerr Arlou W. Rippelmeyer Frisch nee Hoerr, 89, of Swansea, formerly of Waterloo, died Sept. 10, 2006, in Swansea. She was born Sept. 14, 1916, in Maeystown, the daughter of the late Henry and Emma Hoerr nee Rodenberg. She was preceded in death by husbands Arnold Rippelmeyer and Oliver Frisch. Mrs. Rippelmeyer is survived by her children Marlene L. (Leroy) Vogel-Karsten of Marissa, and Darrel R. (Donna) Rippelmeyer of Belleville; grandchildren Susan Mouser of Swansea, Scott (Bridget) Vogel of Blair, Brian S. (Rebecca) Rippelmeyer of Belleville, and Michelle Lyn (Todd) Morris of Des Moines, Iowa; great-grandchildren; great-great- grandchildren; sister Laverne Whelan of Waterloo; and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sister Delma Henry, brothers Earl Hoerr and Walter Hoerr, granddaughter Gwen Vogel and son-in-law Norbert Vogel. Mrs. Rippelmeyer was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services were at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown, Pastor Ivan Horn officiating. She is buried at St. John Cemetery in Maeystown. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
