Hermes, Joseph M.
Joseph M. Hermes, 50, of Waterloo, died February 11, 2006, in Carlyle. 
He was born June 11, 1955, in Breese, the son of Elenora Hermes and the 
late John W. Hermes. He was married to Debbie Hermes nee Netemeyer. 
Mr. Hermes is survived by his mother; wife; daughter Ann Hermes of Columbia;
 brother John (Karen) Hermes of Waterloo; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, 
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. 
Hermes was a member of Waterloo Knights of Columbus Council #1334 and 
the Holy Name Society of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School. Visitation was 
at Quernheim Funeral Home. A funeral mass was at Our Lady of Good counsel 
in Renault, Fr. Roger Karban officiating. Memorials may be made to Cor Jesu 
Scholarship Fund or the National Association on Mental Illness.
