Dolde, Ruth E. nee Klingelberg
Ruth E. Dolde nee Klingelberg, 95, of Waterloo, died February 9, 2006, in Waterloo. 
She was born September 20, 1019, in Maeystown, the daughter of the late Louis and 
Marie Klingelberg nee Krone. She was married to the late Herbert Dolde. Mr. Dolde 
is survived by nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by her 
parents, husband, and sisters Selma Klingelberg, Elsie Klingelberg, Hulda Kettler, Marie 
Giles and Lillian Schneider. Mrs. Dolde was a lifelong member of St. John United Church 
of Christ in Maeystown; she was the granddaughter of Ludwig Krone, one of the church’s 
founding members. She attended a one room school at Chaflin Bridge and graduated from 
Maeystown High school. She was a teacher in rural Monroe County and later worked at 
Knaust Mushroom Farm in Valmeyer. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral 
services were at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown, Pastor Ivan Horn officiating. 
She is buried at St. John Cemetery in Maeystown. Memorials may be made to St. John United 
Church of Christ.
