Brandt, Dorothea A. nee Offermann
Dorothea A. Brandt nee Offermann, 84, of Waterloo, died Oct. 9, 2006, 
in Red Bud. She was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Fults, the daughter of the late 
John D. and Katerina Offermann nee Wild. She was married to the late Elmer 
W. Brandt. Mrs. Brandt is survived by her daughter Carol (Larry) Nottmeier 
of Fults; grandson Lonnie (Heidi) Nottmeier of Fults; great-granddaughters Leslie 
Nottmeier and Amanda Nottmeier; and siblings Ervin (Vera) Rippelmeyer, Walter 
(Hilda) Scheibe, Theodore Offermann and John (Mabel) Offermann. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother George Offermann; and sisters
 Olga Juelfs, Adele Merlenbach, Clara Josten and Frieda Schatte. Visitation and a 
funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Nancy Spier-Lee officiating. 
She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made 
to Zion United Church of Christ in Waterloo or Senior Haven.
