Mrs. Rosemann Died Suddenly

Mrs. Ione Sophia Marie Roseman, 41, wife of William J. Roseman, Sr., Waterloo 
Rural Route, died at 11:40 pm. Sunday at St. Clement’s Hospital in Red Bud after 
suffering a cerebral hemorrhage earlier that evening.

Mrs. Roseman was stricken about 9 pm while attending the Columbia Homecoming.  
She was rushed to the hospital, where she died.

The Rev. Dr. G.A. Friz of Columbia will officiate at funeral services at 2 pm Wednesday 
at the Wagner Funeral Home in Waterloo, and burial will be in St. Paul E. & R. Church 
Cemetery in Columbia.

Mrs. Roseman was born November 24, 1915, in East Carondolet, a daughter of Henry 
and Frieda Wolfmeier, need Leonhardt.  She and Mr. Roseman were married December 
22, 1934 in Waterloo.

Among her survivors are her husband; 4 daughters, Mrs. George (Irma) Ripplemeyer, 
Mrs. Herman (Shirley) Rippelmeyer, Miss Wanda and Miss Margaret Ann Roseman; 
a son William J. Roseman, Jr., a brother Wilfred Wolfmeier; and her mother, Mrs. Frieda 
Wolfmeier.
