The Waterloo Republic-Times Wednesday, August 22, 1984 ‘Jim’ Jung Funeral Friday Funeral Services were held Friday Bernard ‘Jim’ Jung, 90, retired president of the Waterloo Milk Co., who died August 14, 1984, at the Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo. Mr. Jung was the husband of Mrs. Lucille Jung, nee Mohme. The Rev. Russell D. Nelson officiated at services at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo, and burial was in Kolmer Memorial Cemetery. The Quernheim Funeral Directors were in charge. Mr. Jung was born September 18, 1893, in Waterloo, a son of Adam and Gesina Jung, nee Sievers. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and James Meyer of Afton, Mo., and Susan and Clarence Jr. Vogt of Fults; a son and daughter- in-law, John and Barbara Jung of Camp Hill, Pa., eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Bertha Smith and Helen Jung both of Chino, Calif.; and a brother Fred Jung of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Lou Jung, two sisters and two brothers. Mr. Jung was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Waterloo.
