The Waterloo Republican October 1920 Sievers Mrs. Elizabeth Sievers, nee Jung, wife of Henry Sievers, died in St. Louis on October 18, 1920, aged 49 years. She had been ailing for some time, and had been removed to St. Mary’s Hospital, hoping that relief would be obtained there. But all efforts were unavailing. The remains were brot to this city for interment, which took place this morning in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Sievers were married October 16, 1889 in this city. For several years past they have resided in this city. Of a family of thirteen children, ten survive. They are Mrs. John Eversmann, Mrs. Louis Wiedemann, John, Aloysius, Henry, Cecelia, Hildegarde, Alonzo, Dolores and Helen. She also leaves besides her husband and mother, brothers John, Joseph, Aloysius, sisters Mrs. Herman Janson, Mrs. Edw. Vogt and brother Charles. The deceased was held in high esteem by all, and the deep sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones. The funeral took place from the residence of her mother, Mrs. Caroline Jung.
