Osterhage, Earl H. Earl H. Osterhage, 82, of Waterloo, died September 2, 2005, in Waterloo. He was born November 5, 1922, in Waterloo, the son of the late Emil and Edna Osterhage nee Klohr. He was married to Nadine Osterhage nee Loewe. He is survived by his wife; children Sandy Osterhage of Waterloo, Linda (Charles) Wallace of Waterloo, Randy (Karen) Osterhage of Waterloo, Joy (Ronald) Hoffmann of Waterloo, and Scott (Lorrie) Osterhage of Waterloo; grandchildren Grant Osterhage, Katherine Wallace, Amanda Wallace, Nicholas Osterhage, Bethany Osterhage, Sarah (Karl) Krebel, Brian (Tara Miller) Hoffmann, Amy Osterhage and Eric Osterhage; great-granddaughter Klair Krebel; brother Warren (Ada) Osterhage of Waterloo, nephew Al (Melinda) Studt of Columbia; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alice Studt, and brother-in-law Richard Studt. Mr. Osterhage was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, Morris Lodge 787 of Waterloo, Shriners Alnad of East St. Louis, Scottish Rite of Belleville, Eastern Star, Monroe County Farm Bureau, past Fair Board member and director, past director of Mon-Clair Grain, and an avid Kloepper player. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services were at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, Pastor Mary Beth Hartenstein officiating. He is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo.
