DIED


In Moredock precinct, on 2d inst., Winfred Morton, son of Martin V. and Gilead E. Axley, 
aged 1 year and 1 day.
 
"If we had thought thou couldst have died,
    We might not weep for thee;
But we forgot, when by thy side,
    That thou wouldst mortal be.
It never through our minds had pass'd
    The time would e'er be o'er.
And we on thee should look our last,
    And thou shouldst smile no more.
