Ruth M. Lutman nee Woodward, 57, of Fults, died September 28, 2005, in Fults. She was born November 15, 1947, in East St. Louis, the daughter of Freda Woodward of Collinsville and the late Orville Woodward. She was married to David G. Lutman Sr. She is survived by her mother; husband; children David Jr. (Carrie) Lutman of Ellis Grove, and Sandy Lutman (fiancé Heath Gonzalez) of Fults; grandchildren Geanene Lutman, David Glenn Lutman III, Mallory Casten, Chris Gonzales, and Alexis Gonzalez; sisters Wilma Bowen of Granite City and Shirley (Ron) Majka of Mascoutah; brothers Kenny (Susie) Woodward of Collinsville, and Bobby (Sandy) Woodward of Collinsville; and aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and brother-in-law Bo Bowen. Mrs. Lutman was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Renault. She worked for St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud for more than 20 years and she was the deputy coroner of Monroe County. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral home. A funeral mass was at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Father Roger Karban officiating. She is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Renault.
