Maurine V. Kruse nee Brewer, 84, of Waterloo, died September 20, 2005, in Waterloo. She 
was born May 8, 1921, in Kennett, Mo., the daughter of the late Justice and Quila Brewer 
nee Bruce. She was married to Anthony J. Kruse. 

She is survived by her husband; son Dennis (Denise) Kruse of Waterloo; grandchildren Dawn 
(Ryan) Grohmann, and Dana (Gerred) Carothers of Munising, Mich.; six great-grandchildren; 
sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Patricia Kruse. Mrs. Kruse was a 
member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo. 

A graveside service was held at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating.
