JUNG

Joseph Jung of this city died here Sunday, October 25, 1942.

Mr. Jung was born in Waterloo on February 20, 1877, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry 
Jung, nee Caroline Braun.

In past years the deceased had been employed in St. Louis, until his health failed, when he 
returned to Waterloo, where he died at the age of 65 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Surviving relatives include two sisters, Mrs. Herman Jansen, and Mrs. Edward Vogt, and two 
brothers, Al G. Jung and Charles Jung of this city.  

Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning from the Quernheim Funeral Home to SS. Peter 
and Paul Catholic Church, where Rev. G. H. Unterkoefler read requiem mass.  Interment took 
place in the Catholic cemetery.
