The Waterloo Times Friday Jul 16, 1915 MRS. LOUISA JANSON PASSES AWAY Mrs. Louisa Janson, relict of the late John Janson, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Wienhoff, three miles northwest of this city, Monday evening after a lingering illness, aged 70 years, 11 months and 22 days. Deceased was born and raised in Monroe County, and lived here all her life. She was a daughter of John Weilbaecher of near Columbia. Her husband preceded her in death 32 years ago, and she never remarried. For the past several years she has been making her home with her daughter Mrs. John Wienhoff where she died. Ten children resulted from this union, two of whom preceded their parents to the Great Beyond. Five sons and three daughter survive, all of them grown. They are: John, Mrs. Mary Auer, Philip, Christian and Herman, all of St. Louis, and Peter, Mrs. Fred Rick, and Mrs. John Wienhoff of this city. One sister, Mrs. Caroline Oexner of this city, and two brothers John and Joseph Weilbaecher of Columbia, also survive. Her remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery Thursday morning, a large number of sympathizing relatives and friends following the body to its final resting place.
