Wierschem, Rose Annie nee Wuertz

Rose Annie Wierschem nee Wuertz, 100, of Waterloo, died January 17, 2006, in Waterloo. 
She was born January 1, 1906, in Madonnaville, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary 
Wuertz nee Collette. She was married to the late William A. Wierschem. Mrs. Wierschem is 
survived by her sisters Alice Welsch of Waterloo and Anne Wuertz of Waterloo, and nieces 
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings John Wiertz, 
Margaret Dunn, Edward Wuertz, Helen Nieman, Clara Ricker, Joseph Wuertz and Mary 
Roever. Mrs. Wierschem was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo. 
Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. A funeral mass was at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 
Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating. She is buried at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Madonnaville. 
Memorials may be made to Gibault Catholic High School, Ss. Peter and Paul school, or Sts. Peter 
and Paul Church.
