Schaefer, Sina C.
Sina C. Schaefer, 101, of Orange City, Fla., died March 8, 2005, in Orange City. She 
was born June 11, 1903, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Schaefer nee 
Mueller. She is survived by nieces and nephews Helen Krone, John Kutz, Margaret 
Aukamp, Susanne Hale, Ruth Meister and Harvey Schaefer. She was preceded in death 
by her parents, sisters Amanda Heintz, Anna Schaefer, Freida Schaefer, Adele Kutz, 
brother Emil Schaefer and nephew Clyde Schaefer. She was a member of Women’s 
Fellowship of First Congregation Church in Orange City, American Rose Society, 
Arlington Rose Society, Potomac Rose Society, and volunteered in many children’s 
organizations. Visitation and funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Services, Pastor 
Mary Beth Hartenstein officiating. She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. 
Memorials may be made to Kolmer Memorial Chapel Fund, St. Paul United Church of 
Christ Renovation Fund, or Excellence in Education.
