Sager, Rubylee E. nee Wood
Rubylee E. Sager nee Wood, 79, formerly of Columbia, died February 17, 2005, in Murphysboro. 
She was born June 16, 1925, in Pittsburg, Kan., the daughter of the late Earl and Ruby Wood nee 
Cameron. She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands Joseph Vogt and Lester H. 
Sager, respectively. She is survived by her children Joseph S. Vogt of Columbia, Rubymaria (Jerry) 
Kish of Glenburnie, Md., James G. (Jean) Vogt of Breese, Becky (Warren) Reagan of Fredericktown, 
Md., Runnell (David) Graff of Ava, Roselle (Russel) Howeter of Glenburnie, Md., John (Joni) Vogt of 
Ava, Carol ‘Sis’ Sager of Columbia, and Lester Lee Sager; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and nephew Michael Reagan. Mrs. Sager had been 
a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was a member of American Legion Post #581 
Auxiliary. Visitation and funeral services were at Lawlor Funeral Home, Fr. Steve Gira officiating. She is 
buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
