Kelley, Eileen M. nee Whelan
Eileen M. Kelley nee Whelan, 80, of Waterloo, died July 11, 2005, in St. Louis. She was born 
November 30, 1924, in Harrisonville, the son of the late Albert and Anna Whelan nee Jaenke. 
She was married to Walter J. Kelley Jr. She is survived by her husband; children Carol (David) 
Biffar of Red Bud and Cletus (Sharon) Kelley of Waterloo; grandchildren Kevin (Becky) Biffar, 
Eric Kelley, and Kelly (fiancé Mike Murphy) Biffar; sisters Mildred (Oliver) Dehne of Red Bud 
and Nancy Kruse of Ruma; brothers Cletus (Pat) Whelan of Columbia, Allan (Freda) Whelan of 
Ames, and Gerald Whelan of Prairie du Rocher; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Mabel Whelan, 
Jim and Rosella Kelley, Jim and Josephine Devine, Edward and Rita Kelley, Helen Meisenbach 
and Rita Kelley; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, son 
Gene Kelley, brother LeRoy Whelan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nephews. Mrs. Kelley 
was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Tipton and the Alter Society. Visitation was at Quernheim 
Funeral Home. A funeral mass was said at St. Patrick’s Church by Fr. Jose Jacob. She is buried at 
St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Tipton. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Church’s Special Fund.
