Hankammer, Mary Lou nee Kolmer Mary Lou Hankammer nee Kolmer, 79, of the Columbia-Waterloo area, died December 23, 2005, in Columbia. She was born October 15, 1926, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late Arthur and Carmelita Kolmer nee Vogt. She was married to Raymond E. Hankammer. She is survived by her husband; John (Lorraine) Hankammer of Savannah, Ga., Jane (Dave) Van Vertloo of Edwardsville, James (Debra) Hankammer of Waterloo, Judy (Mark) Paisley of Waterloo, Joan (Greg) Galey of Evansville, Ind., and Joyce (Dave) Peterson of Atlanta, Ga.; 17 grand- children; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Dusold, and ASC Elizabeth Kolmer; brothers Leroy (Jean) Kolmer and Joseph (Liz) Kolmer; sisters-in-law Marie (William) Killian, Bernice (Dale) Newton and Theresa (Don) Weber; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Joseph A. Hankammer in infancy, brothers James Kolmer and John Kolmer in infancy, and sister ASC Shirley Kolmer. Mrs. Hankammer was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Mary & Martha Society. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. A funeral mass was at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating. She is buried at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to SPPS, Gibault High School or in the form of masses.
