Bivins, Michael C.

Michael C. Bivins, 75, of Waterloo, died January 15, 2006, in St. Louis. He was born 
December 26, 1930, in Dupo, the son of the late Dallas and Vera M. Bivins nee Secrets. 
He was married to Carol A. Bivins nee Engel. Mr. Bivins is survived by his wife; children 
Michael P. (Elizabeth) Bivins of Waterloo, Timothy T. Bivins of Waterloo, Penny (Chuck) 
Hutchcraft of Waterloo, Tina Bivins of St. Louis, Paul Bivins of Arnold, Mo., and Patrick 
(Carol) Bivins of Whifefish Bay, Wisc.; 15 grandchildren including Abby and Sonny Bivins 
of Waterloo; and brothers Paul Bivins of Independence, Mo., and Terry (Judy) Bivins of 
Dupo. He was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Kelly Bivins. Mr. Bivins was 
a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo. He was also a member of 
Maeystown Sportsman’s Club. Visitation was at DeFabio Funeral home. A funeral mass 
was at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating.
