Obituary, Waterloo Republic, July, 1940

Henry P. Sievers Sr., husband of the late Elizabeth Sievers, nee Jung and Emily Sievers, 
died in at his residence in St. Louis July 24, 1940.

The funeral took place from the Gebken Chapel Saturday, and interment in the Catholic 
cemetery at Waterloo.

He is survived by children Caroline Ewersmann, the later Bernard, John, Aloysius, Elizabeth 
Wiedemann, Henry Jr., Cecelia Wunch, Hildegarde, Alonzo, Dolores Bacik and Helen Kohen.

The deceased resided here for many years and while here was engaged in hauling.

The funeral rites were attended by a large number of friends and relatives.
