Miller, Lionel G.
Lionel G. Miller, 59, of St. Louis, died May 8, 2004, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in 
Houston, Tex. Mr. Miller was married to Holly Miller nee Ludwig, of Columbia. He was 
born September 16, 1944, at St. Louis, the step-son of the late Louis and Olinda Matzenbacher 
nee Pieper. He is survived by his wife; daughter Christine (Jay) Powers; son Adam (Kim) Miller; 
grandchildren Luke, Eli, Madison, Olivia and Lydia; sisters Sharon (George) Snyder, Lea (Dave) 
Berry and Mary Kay (Jim) Richards; brothers Guy (Margie) Miller, Lloyd (Barb) Miller and 
Bobby Miller; and relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Guy Miller. 
Mr. Miller was an active member of Bethesda Evangelical Church in Lemay, Mo. He was 
employed by Ameren UE and was a member of IBEW #1439 in St. Louis. Visitation was at 
Lawlor Funeral Home. Funeral services were at Bethesda Evangelical Church, officiated by 
Pastor Jim Barnes. He is buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia.
