McGathey, Amber Dawn
Amber Dawn McGathey, 22, of Kansas City, formerly of Waterloo, died June 6, 2004, at 
Kansas City. She was born June 8, 1981, at St. Louis, the daughter of Debra (Robert) 
Augustine and Boyd McGathey. She is survived by her parents; brothers Brett Augustine and 
Clayton Augustine; grandparents William and Dorothy Sands, Boyd and Bonnie McGathey, 
Shirley McCorkle and Richard and Marlene Augustine; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 
She was preceded in death by her brother Jason. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. 
Funeral services were at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, officiated by Msgr. Thomas Flach. 
She is buried at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to Kansas 
City Crime Stoppers.
