McClenahan, Ardell nee Lenhardt
Ardell McClenahan nee Lenhardt, 94, of Waterloo, died March 4, 2005, in Waterloo. 
She was born February 3, 1911, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late Louis and Hilda 
Lenhardt nee Telling. She was married to the late Roy McClenahan; he preceded her in 
death in 1974. She is survived by her nieces Gale (Robert) VanConia of Columbia, Peggy 
(Robert) Studt of Columbia and Juanita Cooper of Columbia; sister-in-law Edna Harbaugh 
of Waterloo; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
husband and a sister. She was the former owner and operator of Lenhardt Restaurant and 
was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star – Rob Morris Chapter #98 in Fairview 
Heights. Private family services were held. She will be interned at Valhalla Cemetery in 
St. Louis. Memorials may be made to Order of the Eastern Star Organization – Chapter #98,
