Ludwig, Robert W.
Robert W. Ludwig, 73, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Waterloo, died Nov. 22, 2003 in  
Arizona. He was the husband of Carmen R. Ludwig nee Riquarts. He was born July 10, 1930, 
the son of the late Fred A. and Pauline Ludwig nee Hern.  Besides his wife Mr. Ludwig is 
survived by a daughter Cynthia (Larry) Philpot; two sons, Robert W. Ludwig, Jr. and Stephen 
Paul Ludwig; two sisters, Lavern (Gene) Hoff and Vivian Gray; a sister-in-law Virginia Ludwig 
and two grandchildren Brea and Danny Philpot.  Visitation was at the Quernheim Funeral Home 
where a funeral was Nov. 16 the Rev. Kyle Sandersfeld officiating. Burial was at Waterloo City 
Cemetery. Besides his parents, a brother, Dr. Fred A. Ludwig preceded him in death.
