Koch, Luella nee Rippelmeyer
Luella Koch nee Rippelmeyer, 86, of Waterloo, died September 23, 2004, in Belleville. She 
was married to Raymond Koch; he survives her. Mrs. Koch was born August 21, 1918, in 
Harrisonville, the daughter of the late William and Louise Rippelmeyer nee Hammer. She is 
survived by her husband; son David (Kathryn) Koch, of Ouray, Col.; granddaughter Alicia 
Roberts; sister Vera Smith, of Columbia; and nieces, nephews and  cousins. She was preceded
 in death by her parents, first husband Nelson Steinmann, and brothers and sisters. Visitation 
funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Bob Koch officiating. She is buried 
at Waterloo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Church in Columbia 
or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
