Garrett, Robert W.
Robert W. Garrett, 87, of Waterloo, died May 25, 2005, in Waterloo. He was born 
March 6, 1918, in Macon, Mo., the son of the late James and Mary Garrett nee Woods. 
He was married to Virginia Garrett nee Fox. He is survived by his wife; children Jim 
(Nancy) Garrett of Maeystown, Harold (Karen) Garrett of Maeystown, and Carol 
(Scott) Goodwin of Chester; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother 
Harold Garrett of Bakersfield, Calif.; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews 
and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sharon K. Danzinger, 
and brothers. Mr. Garrett was a member of First Baptist Church of Waterloo. 
Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services were at First Baptist 
Church of Waterloo, Pastor Tommy Cupples officiating. He is buried at Waterloo 
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or First Baptist 
Church of Waterloo.
