Whelan, Lucille A.
Lucille A. Whelan, nee Johanning, 93, of Waterloo died Oct. 9, 2003. She was the wife of the late 
Edward G. Whelan and was born June 17, 1910 the daughter of the late Henry and Christina 
Johanning nee Schmeding. Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Geri) Whelan and Donald (Janet) 
Whelan; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation was at the Quernheim Funeral 
Home. A funeral was Oct. 11 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at Wartburg the Rev. Steven 
MacDougall officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
