Submitted by Kathleen Reilmann Anna Stemler Died June 14 Anna Stemler, 90, died June 14, 1984 at the Monroe County Nursing Home where she had been for three months. Mrs. Stemler, a lifelong resident of Waterloo, was the wife of the late Philip C. Stemler. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Quernheim Funeral Home, the Rev. F. Wehrenberg officiating. Burial was in Kolmer Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Stemler was born Aug. 3, 1893 in Monroe County, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Rehling, nee Niemann. She is survived by two sons, Walter E. and Phillip J. Stemler, both of Waterloo; two daughters-in-law; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Rodella Binder of Almogordo, New Mex. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and a charter member of the Monroe County Homemakers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Philip Feb. 10, 1982, three borthers, and two sisters.
