Obituary, Waterloo Republic, January 24, 1940

Walter H. Coerver was born in Waterloo, Ill. on January 18, 1889.  He died in 
Prairie du Rocher, January 19, 1940, after a lingering illness of two years; at the 
age of 51 years, 1 day.

On September 10, 1912, he was married to Miss Hilda Seitz, at St. Genevieve, 
Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, and seven children, Killian, Fred, Gregory, Genevieve, 
Paul, Irene, and Walter Joseph.  Also his father and one sister.

The funeral took place at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 22, from the family residence 
to St. Joseph’s Church in Prairie du Rocher, with burial in the Waterloo cemetery.
