Williams, Emilie J. nee Davit Emilie J. Williams nee Davit, 100, of Columbia, died May 8, 2007, in Columbia. She was born Feb. 11, 1907, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late David and Leah Davit nee Vouga. She was married to the late Franklin Williams. Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Gale) King of Columbia; grandchildren Jim King of Columbia, Dan King of Columbia, Nancy Cunningham of Randleman, N.C., Cynthia Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Joe Williams of Atlanta, Ga., and Patty Williams of New Mexico; great-grandchildren David (Christine) King and Matt King; great-great-granddaughter Taylor Emilie King; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Dave Williams; sisters Helen Davit and Estelle Herman; and brothers Henry Davit, Edward Davit, Al Davit and Francis Davit. Visitation and a funeral service were at Lawlor Funeral Home, Pastor Lance Hudgens officiating. She is buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia.
