Schulden, Margaret nee Pflasterer  Obit

Margaret Schulden nee Pflasterer, 92, of Waterloo, died Feb. 22, 2007, in 
St. Louis. She was born July 24, 1914, in Valmeyer, the daughter of the late 
Karl and Wilhelmina Pflasterer nee Hoffmann. She was married to the late 
Ray G. Schulden. Mrs. Schulden is survived by her daughter Joann (Michael) 
Fricke of Waterloo; grandson Matt (Michelle) Fricke; sisters-in-law Vera 
Pflasterer and Geneva Pflasterer; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Fred Pflasterer, 
Orval Pflasterer, Earl Pflasterer and Willis Pflasterer. Mrs. Schulden was a 
member of St. John United Church of Christ in Valmeyer. She was also a 
member of Valmeyer American Legion Post #901 Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation 
and a funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Ivan Horn 
officiating. She is buried at St. John Cemetery in Valmeyer. Memorials may 
be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Oak Hill Whispering Pines Activity 
Fund.
