Schneeberger, Ann L. nee Cook Ann L. Schneeberger nee Cook, 80, of Columbia, formerly of Dupo, died May 21, 2007, in Columbia. She was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Desoto, Mo., the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Cook nee Sandusky. She was married to Robert “Snowy” Schneeberger for 60 years. Mrs. Schneeberger is survived by her husband; daughters Joanne (Bruce) Counce of Columbia, and Judy (Marvin) Doerr of Dupo; grandchildren Julie (Scott) Rodemich of Columbia, Robyn (Kevin) McCarty of Kildeer, Jamie (Christopher) Wyse of Dayton, Ohio, and Kevin (Andrea) Doerr of Columbia; great-grandchildren Ryan Rodemich, Allison Rodemich, Madison McCarty and Mackenzie McCarty; sister-in-law Jackie (Eugene) Poettgen of Waterloo; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Lucille Kelley and Bernice Jordan. Mrs. Schneeberger was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, where she sang in the choir for 40 years. She was a charter member and past president of Sugarloaf VFW Auxiliary #6368. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Al Sihah Temple #29, Rob Morris Chapter #98 Order of the Eastern Star, and she participated in the Monsanto Local #12 Retiree Club. Visitation was at Dashner Funeral Home. A funeral service was at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, Rev. Kim Kelly officiating. She is buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia. Memorials may be made to Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, Shriner’s Hospital for Children in St. Louis, or Hope School Foundation in Springfield.
