Schaefer, Vernon D. C. Sr.

Vernon D.C. Schaefer Sr., 89, of Valmeyer, died May 8, 2007, in 
Waterloo. He was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Valmeyer, the son of the late 
Daniel C. and Hilda Schaefer nee Nagel. He was married to the late 
Luella N. Schaefer nee Seyler. Mr. Schaefer is survived by his sister 
Betty (Everette) Marsten of Arlington, Va. He was preceded in death 
by his parents, wife and son Vernon D. Schaefer Jr. Visitation and a 
funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Matt Friz 
officiating. He is buried at St. John Cemetery in Valmeyer. Memorials 
may be made to the American Heart Association.
