Rick, Raymond E.

Raymond E. Rick, 83, of Waterloo, died July 10, 2007, in Waterloo. He 
was born June 13, 1924, in Waterloo, the son of the late Peter and Katherine 
Rick nee Toenjes. He was married to Dorothy C. Rick nee Schrader. Mr. 
Rick is survived by his wife; children Virginia (Kurt) Faber of Shorewood, 
and Susan Rick of Waterloo; grandsons Capt. Michael Faber and Jonathan 
Faber; sister Clara Johnson of Columbia; and brother William (Dotty) Rick 
of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Edna Koch, 
Margaret Schnellbecher and Marion Schrader, and brother Herbert Rick. 
Mr. Rick was a former member of the Monroe County Farm Bureau and 
the Soil Conservation Service. He was at 4-H leader and former volunteer 
for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Rend Lake. Visitation and a funeral 
service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating. 
He is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
