JOSEPH HARBAUGH DIED JAN. 16 Joseph G. Harbaugh, 69, of 309 W 4th St., Waterloo, died Jan. 16 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, where he had been a patient for four days. Mr. Harbaugh, who never married, was a retired typographical composer. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Father Charles Hellrung officiating, and burial was in the church cemetery. Wagner Funeral Directors were in charge. Mr. Harbaugh was born in Monroe County April 20, 1897, a son of William G. and Anna C. Harbaugh, nee Schuhmacher. He is survived by five sisters, Miss Eleanor Harbaugh, Shawnee, Okla.; Mrs. Herbert (Rose) Bertram, Waterloo; Mrs. Robert G. (Alice) Wildman, Casper, Wyoming; Mrs. Herman A. (Marie) Miller, Belleville; and Miss Irene Harbaugh, at home. A sister, Sister Mary Ann William, preceded him in death. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Typographical Union No. 8.
