PEARL GRIFFIN DIED NOV. 16 Pearl A. Griffin, 75, of Hecker, died Nov. 16, 1986, at St. Clement Hospital, Red Bud, after being a patient for eight days. She was a clerk at the Hecker Post Office before her retirement. A funeral Mass was said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Hecker, Msgr. Cletus Cunningham officiating. Burial was in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Waterloo. The Rosary was recited Monday evening at the Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo. Miss Griffin was born May 26, 1911, in Madonnaville, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Griffin, nee Kraft. She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church and the Altar Society in Hecker. Her survivors include a brother, Albert H. Griffin, Arlington, Virginia; sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
