HORACE GRIFFIN FUNERAL SAT.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Horace Griffin, 83, who died Wednesday 
evening, Sept. 12, at the Monroe County Nursing Home.  The Rev. William Morisseau 
conducted services at 2 p.m. at the Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, and burial was in 
the St. Joe Cemetery.  Mr. Griffin was born in Monroe County March 12, 1879, a son of Mr. 
and Mrs. James Griffin, nee Barker.  He was never married.  His only survivors are nieces and
