GRIFFIN
Harry Griffin, son of the late Louis and Lena Wierschem Griffin, died last Friday, October 29, 1943, 
at the home of his sister, Mrs. Fred Schmitt, at the age of 44 years, 8 months, and 11 days.  He was 
born Feb. 18, 1899 at Harrisonville, Illinois.  His funeral took place from the Quernheim Funeral Home, 
with services by Father J. Kilfoil in the Valmeyer Catholic Church and interment in the Waterloo Catholic 
Cemetery.  Mr. Griffin is survived by a twin sister, Mrs. Fred Schmitt and two brothers, Ben Griffin 
and William Griffin (Wednesday 3 November 1943, Waterloo Republican, Waterloo, Illinois)
