The Waterloo Republican July 27, 1921 Deaths Straub Jacob Straub, a highly respected farmer of near Madonnaville, died at his home, Sunday evening, July 24, 1921, at 8 o'clock, aged 59 years, 7 months and 14 days. He had been sick for about a week. The deceased was born December 10, 1861, in Windenberg, Germany. His wife died about a year and a half ago. He leaves to mourn his loss four sons, Joseph, Mathews, George and Henry, and five daughters, Mrs. E. Smith, Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Duvernell, St. Louis, Mrs. B. Kirby, China, Tillie and Rose, St. Louis. Interment took place this morning in the Catholic Cemetery at Madonnaville.
