Martin Stich, an old resident of this part of the country, died at the residence of his daughter, 
Mrs. Joseph Ritter, Sr. near Fish Lake on Friday Jan 26 and was buried on Monday Jan 29 a the 
Catholic Cemetery.  The deceased was aged 88 years, 10 months and 26 days.  He leaves his 
daughter Mrs. Ritter and one son John Stich residing in Edwardsville, Illinois.  Besides these 
children he also leaves a sister Mrs. Schneebergerof Edwardsville.  For the last 14 years he has 
resided with Mr. Ritter.
